Page 12: Scotch

Grady and Mac are the best.  Sorry for the standard lateness!

Flat colors on this page by Kaezrer.

96 Responses to “Page 12: Scotch”

  1. Zaldaran Says:

And thus the tradition began that lasted thousands of years. each year on the anniversary of humanities savior, Saint Mac brings us a bottle of scotch.

  2. Chris Says:

Well a lot of stuff has been happening since he first asked for it. Guy deserves a drink.

  3. snake Says:

followed by the annual Saint Rage kill off I assume

  4. Arkus Says:

I feel like difference in color might be a little weird.

  5. datret Says:

I sure hope the zombies don’t come running…for the scotch.

  6. brandon Says:

    finally.

plz return to black and white depictions only, they were the best. the original pages rocked my world.

  7. Bobby Crosby Says:

LOL. This page looks awesome, and anyone who likes black and white better than color is a moron.

  8. Justin Says:

The color’s nice but yeah, this is one of the few comics i liked in black and white more then color.

  9. Owen Gieni Says:

I’m trying to go for more of a big budget action adventure movie look with LB2 as opposed to the more straight forward old school horror look of LB1. Give it a couple more pages and hopefully it’ll grow on you. So far this new LB2 has been really fun to draw, pretty much my favorite thing I’m working on now, which says a lot.

  10. charles Says:

The B&W art was great but the colour jobs so far are awsome so no complaints about the change here.

The B&W worked well for the doom and gloom of LB1, I wouldn’t have wanted to see it in colour for a comic. But I don’t think LB2 is looking like it’s gonna have so much gloom and dispair. No doubt some death and tragedy but it works well to let the place look less like an end of the world, wasteland and more like the re-birthing of humanity.

  11. Amadeus Says:

Original had a better feel I think. Just an opinion. These new color pages are also amazing.

  12. Arkus Says:

The current colors look good. But I meant how the first colored pages are darker than these newer ones done by Kaezrer.

  13. Owen Gieni Says:

It’s still me doing colors, Kaezrer just helps me out by doing the flat color fills to save me time. It’s a big help, but all the color choices and rendering are still mine. For good or for bad.

  14. Bobby Crosby Says:

These pages are great. Anyone who says otherwise should get their head cut off by a Mac Attack. Million reasons for the last couple pages to look lighter. The sun just popped out from behind a cloud possibly. I personally adore color in general and the brighter the better — I want to actually SEE what the fuck’s going on.

  15. Demon! Says:

    Awww, how romantic ;)

I just hope Grady doesn’t bite Mac – I think there was one human turning into a zombie, if I remember correctly the discussion from last year.

  16. ShavenLunatic Says:

The characters look much better in colour imo, stick with it. Dark grey-scale works in small doses when used correctly, but I definately am loving the new look of the comic.

Also it gives a sense of a new beginning in a strange kind of way.

Oh, and Bobby, we gonna be getting the MSpaintmash drawings with this new series? :)

  17. joe Says:

    @ Demon

Yes, the principal was turning into a zombie last year… They cut off his arm to try and “help” him. But Murdo decided it would be better to just decapitate him…

  18. Gabriel_reaper Says:

    @ Joe:
He was a moron anyway, so twice as good to have him killed :)

  19. Liliel Says:

Some sunshine, scotch and a friend to drink with, and suddenly the fate of the world doesn’t seem all that gloomy.

Oh btw, j’adore Grady’s nose in the second panel ^^

  20. charles Says:

    its going to twist again

  21. Amy Says:

I liked the black and white in the first one because it fit the mood better than the color.

The color works wonderfully for this because of the change in mood, as well as helping the reader to differentiate between the current story and flash backs.

Love the flat color now. It makes it look more realistic than the pages before Kaezrer joining the team.

Good work Bobby, Owen, and Kaezrer! You’re all doing wonderfully!

  22. Cat Says:

So, after a bit of searching (wasn’t too hard, just took a bit but could have been longer, I suppose), I found this quote which I remembered reading awhile ago.

““It had the possibility to turn 24-hour zombies but not anymore”

That’s not final. I think the last thing I said about that was that it might be able to do that. There’s also a difference between 24-hour zombies before and after the 24 hours are up, of course. Don’t be too shocked if we discover early in the sequel that one of our hero humans actually received a similar injury as Principal Howard during the latest big battle and escape.”

So, it’s not the Principal Howard, like Joe says. Demon was right. There is likely another human who was been bitten as well and will turn into a zombie.

  23. charles Says:

@Bobby: I was gonna try and argue that the first pages were morning and we were now looking at midday but the shadows suggested it was roughly midday in the first pages as well.

*meh* 3 supporting things for a lighter page compared to the darker ones at the start of LB2:

    1. clearer day. Seriously, you can get vastly different amounts of cloud over a distance of 5 miles with ease. Pluse there was probably still plenty of dust in the air from the millions of Zombs that tramped through the dirt fields.

    2. scenery reflection. The dirt fields in the first pages would reflect far less light and would reflect more ‘earthy’ colours. Grass and a river would reflect far brighter light around the place. Seriously, try turning on a torch in your dark garage compared to turning it on in your bedroom with pastel colour walls and take a look at how illuminated your face is.

    3. art. Probably the best excuse. A good artist won’t try and stick to darker or lighter tones just for consistency. he’ll swap and change for the mood of the scene and considering the cheery contrast we’re given here, it fits nicely.

But bugger any more argument, each has their own opinion when it comes to art and their own dislikes and likes, much like food. If it’s not to your taste then *shrug*

I just realised something. If the Zombs are headed towards the survivors, we’ve got at least 3 Vamps away from the camp, one turned human and Sullivan away. I’m sure they left a few there to deal with close-by zombies that came to the camp but not enough to deal with the fair sized horde that’s probably still moping around from the battle.

  24. Demon! Says:

joe, it’s not just the principal. I think Bobby mentioned that a human has started to slowly turn into a zombie after the escape from the school. He/She was infected in the chaos that followed Francis’s death.

That’s what I remember, at least.

  25. Icarus Says:

Fun. I like this comic, and frankly it looks really good in colour (imagine blod and gore in colour a few weeks from now……) Can’t wait for the movie, i’d love to go and see it.

  26. Summer Says:

The new page looks amazing. :)

  27. jakraziel Says:

I LOVE the colour but I’d like to see black and white for some of the action bits, just for the contrast.

  28. Lord Byron Says:

    :)

I love Last Blood. I think that about covers it.

Grady finally got his scotch. I bet it’d be nice to relax after a month of fighting for survival…

  29. anla Says:

the page looks fantastic. grayscale and color definitely have their own upsides (like math looking extremely more sexy in the first couple pages), but i really love where the comic is going anyway:]

  30. CarpeCerevisi Says:

These guys do a spectacular job. VERY excited to see you back at it again.

  31. Kimmo Says:

You should start making black and white and BLOOD comics!

  32. Daniel Says:

hmm, Bobby, another annoying ad on the page:

    CONGRATULATIONS!!!

    NO JOKE!!!

    2007 #1 winner!!!

    yeah… right…. 2007.

    Great comic btw :)

  33. Rash1981 Says:

    Awesdome! Last Blood came back!
I was aready wondering if you guys may have post publishing rights to the hollywood people.

Loving the new and improved colouring. Seems to be a lot broader range of colour possibilities. Can’t wait for the next page.

Bobby, owen & Kaezrer, keep AFP Awesome!

  34. Mike Says:

Better late than… well he could have used a drink during the whole zombie invation.

  35. Krzysztof Says:

I’ve just read from issue 1 up to now. Great comic. You’ll see me a lot more from now on.

The color fits very well. Great artwork!

  36. Ben The Diceman Says:

Wow, after reading all that all I wanna do is tak on a few hundred zombies… If this doesnt become and film and beat both that Underworld shit and Twighlight, I think I might cry

  37. Zaldaran Says:

Clearly, Grady will be the next Addison. Only he will be fueled by scotch instead of vodka.

  38. HiMy Says:

Great site you have. but really zombies vs vampires?

  39. Wolvsbane Says:

Been a big fan, loved the first part!!! Kudos! Can’t wait to see the film adaption!!!!

The art also has continually gone up Up UP, with the recent stuff being awesome! Hats off there!

However…. why does it say it updates every Saturday when you have this “usual lateness”…. I’d much rather you NOT state such a goal and update when you can, than LIE to us…. while that’s my only complaint, it’s a dousy, and may make me wait months to come back when something has been updated.

  40. Bobby Crosby Says:

“I’d much rather you NOT state such a goal and update when you can, than LIE to us”

#1 — A week ago it said UPDATES EVERY MWF, so at least we’re lying to you LESS now. #2 — Stating such schedules helps inspire us to make pages. Without such a schedule/goal, there’d be even less frequent pages. I’m guessing you’d rather have more pages than be slightly annoyed by not seeing them on schedule. Being called a liar is often something that helps me think, “Ugh, OK, I’ll write another page now.”

“may make me wait months to come back when something has been updated.”

That’s perfectly fine obviously — do that.

  41. charles Says:

Tell me lies, tell me swee little liiiiiieeeees!

    Sing it with me guys!

See, what we need is each of his comics updating a different day of the week. Most of the weekly comics update on a Saturday or Sunday. Its one of the things I love about Dreamless. I’m sitting there on a Monday (Tuesday Australian time) having had a full helping of weekly comics yesterday and realising that I’ve only got the daily and 3 day a week comics to keep me going for the remainder. Then Dreamless comes along and Woot! I have an extra little pick-me-up to reduce the wait down to 6 days ’till the weekly comics. I think I need Last Blood to take a Wednesday or Thursday just to tide me over *lol*

You know, I just realised something here. If we presume that each Vampire bloodline has a special trait to it, then we’ve actually managed to loose NONE of the lines despite the death of 3 vamps and one turned to human. I wonder what (if any) Addison’s power was (could be brain power I guess).

The other funny one is that not ALL the zombies are gonna get the scent skill and start attacking at once. First it’ll be the oldest zombies, which will be the fewer, then we can probably expect it to larger numbers to gain it with each passing day in relation to the number of humans who were converted 30 days previous to that day.

  42. ivan Says:

    to Bobby,

    1. Thanks for the nostalgic throwback to one of the earliest moments on the first GN.
    2. I’m glad to see the comics starting up again, not sure where dreamless is going but you haven’t disappointed yet.
    3. Thanks for keeping Marry Me mostly kid friendly my 3 year old daughter loves the comic.
    4. Will these eventually be up on woiow, or whatever it was called. I know it may be a while before the second GN is out so at least your fans can help support the company in while we wait for a printed version.

To anyone who feels they need to whine and complain about the update schedule. I’d like to point out a few things. We get this for free so shut the god damned fucking hell up. Second, and I’ve probably said this half a dozen times before, ” It’s updated on Bobby’s time frame, not ours so deal with it.”

  43. ShavenLunatic Says:

Why not just sign up for the RSS feed? (scroll down) I get iGoogle notification whenever a new comic is posted, thus saving you from coming here and pissing off Bobby and/or Owen

  44. CarpeCerevisi Says:

Bobby… Ever feel like climbing a tower and popping off a few shot after reading through comments like that?

  45. Gerardo Says:

    Hello Bobby,

First time poster, I found your site 2 weeks ago. I don’t even remember what led me to it. I think I might anger my bosses by ignoring work/life for a week, but Last Blood has me hooked. And all this week, I have been in constant anticipation for the next page. Wait months for an update??????? NO!!! I would rather be delighted and surprised when the next page comes, even if it’s not on the day I expected. Yours is one of the first pages I open, besides my inbox, when coming to work. Much better than RSS, because it lies sometimes.

    My point is………..

Your work is wonderful. Owen’s art is first rate. Can’t wait for the movie.

…. and if being called a liar helps you think…..

YOU LIE! now please feed my addiction with another wonderful page.

  46. David Hendren Says:

Love Last Blood. And although I am very happy when there are frequent updates, I do not mind having to wait. Anything worthwhile is worth waiting for. I would much rather have longer waits between updates than a compromised comic or worse yet,a burned out Bobby.

  47. Bobby Crosby Says:

ivan: Nah, no more WOWIO for us — new owners, new rules, all garbage.

  48. khaotik Says:

welllll… today would be sunday and there would be no new last blood comic.
typical. i thought this was going to be a great system for the comic. until the schedule got totally ripped.

  49. Pander Says:

This comic once more reinforces, because of his ability to appear from the shadows of trees or anything, my belief that Mac’s real name is Bruce. B ruce Wayne.

Yes. Mac is Batman. That’s why no stinkin’ zombie can kill Mac. Batman always wins. Period. It’s well known that only zombie Abraham Lincoln can even HURT Batman. And that’s only if he has a machine gun.

  50. Jeff Says:

    @Pander: What about Chuck Norris?

@Bobby: Love the comic still, keep up the awesome.

  51. Alex_h Says:

He rembered the scotch i wonder if he rememberd someones porn also lol.

  52. Courtney Says:

Everything cool Bobby? It’s going on two weeks now… I suppose you’re pretty busy with the other comics, as well. (and you were never that good at keeping dates anyways lol)

How many do you have right now? I know you were trying for one every day, and I’m following Dreamless and Marry Me too – how are things with the others?

  53. Jabber Says:

Oh, so glad I decided to check for updates! I’d slacked off on stopping by the page once the pages slowed down, but if you’re updating again I’ll be back to pagestalking. =)

Love the colors! Also, I really like the fact that you brought the ’scotch’ thing back in- with all the awesome zombie and vampire coolness, most writers wouldn’t bother to refer back to a minor conversation piece that happened between a pair of humans. (Not to mention it’s an awesomely humane trait to want alcohol after the end of the world.) Good way to add a little flavor! (Literally! Heh, heh, heh. ….Sorry.)

  54. khaotik Says:

    Thursday, January 29th, 2009

  55. Cat Says:

…Do you have a point, khaotik?

  56. Pander Says:

    Jeff Says:
    “@Pander: What about Chuck Norris?”

Chuck Norris only thought he killed Batman. What the song doesn’t say is that at the very end, Mr Rogers takes off a latex mask, and… beneath….. is BATMAN… aka Mac. He cleverly switched himself and Alfred moments before the fake batman was crushed between the Texas Ranger’s thighs.

  57. kamika Says:

Still no new page.. Quite dissapointing considering your promise to bring a new page every saturday

  58. Jon Pander Says:

Btw, this is the same person as Pander. I forgot that I was using the full name in my comments.

So if it says Pander or Jon Pander, you cna blame the same person for whatever stupidity or snarkiness I might happen to post.

    PS.
Khaotik, thank you for letting me know what date you posted the date. It’s a load off my mind.

Alex_h: “He rembered the scotch i wonder if he rememberd someones porn also lol.”
Oh they’re gonna need a lotta porn, especially since Val’s dead. With Val alive… porn not so vital. Without her… the world’s a little more dead. Well technically it’s almost all dead, given the topic of the comic. Although given the fact that she was a vampire, whether she is alive or dead doesn’t make much difference, since …. you know what? My train of thought is getting too confusing for me to keep track.

khaotik: “typical. i thought this was going to be a great system for the comic. until the schedule got totally ripped.”
I took the schedule out for harvey wallbangers. My fault if it got ripped. Blame me, please.

  59. jon Says:

bobby is it really a good idea to insult fans who are simply inputting their opinion on your work? I mean not every one is going to like the color, the color imo is fine though i still prefer b/w the color is fine, but insulting fans is prolly the worst way to make money.

  60. Bobby Crosby Says:

jon: You have no brain in your head.

  61. Amy Says:

jon: Writers and artists constantly get critiques, when someone protests something idiotic like the color vs b/w, it gets annoying. I’m a graphic designer student and for what Bobby and Owen are trying to do for this volume, color is the best.

  62. Jon Pander Says:

    Bobby:
Just so you know, while I am both Jon Pander and Pander, I am not Jon. :)

So, unlike Jon, I do have a brain in my head and I’d never say anything about you saying stuff about people who say stuff about you saying stuff to people.

Jon: “bobby is it really a good idea to insult fans who are simply inputting their opinion on your work?”
Yes, it is. It keeps the rest of us entertained.

“I mean not every one is going to like the color,”
Everyone that matters likes the color.

    “the color imo is fine”
See? you like the color too – you don’t need to say more.

    “though i still prefer b/w”
b/w is good. Color is good. it’s all good. Shhh.

“but insulting fans is prolly the worst way to make money.”
    Possible Responses:
    A) I guess Bobby will not be getting that check you were going to send him. I’m sure he’ll cope with the monetary loss.
    B) insulting fans worked for Don Rickles.
    C) Shhh.
    D) hehe. He just insulted you (a fan?) in a response to you asking if it’s a good idea to insult fans. The irony… truly funny :)
    E) He only insults the fans who are stupid or repetitive. The rest of us bozos are safe.

  63. khaotik Says:

i did have a reason for posting the date. I thought that perhaps it would make the new page come a little faster by making everyone realize what the fricking date is and how overdue we are for a new page.

  64. Kanian Says:

Khaotik, shut up and go suck on a hat. It’s imbeciles like you who annoy the writers so much they freaking stop.

Go annoy people on halo with your prepubescent shrill voice.

On another note, loving the new pages Bobby and Owen, keep it up, I survived the other wait, and I will stick around for as long as it takes for the next pages, it is free after all.

Almost forgot, not sure if this has been addressed lately, but about how many more pages till we go back to the B&w past part?

  65. Bobby Crosby Says:

It’s possible that we won’t actually return to it. I originally planned for lots of flashbacks, but that might not happen now. Might simply be for the opening scene, saving the flashback stuff for a separate graphic novel (probably the third one).

  66. khaotik Says:

    Kanian.

What makes you think that I’m a “prepubescent?’ Simply because I wonder how a movie can be made about a comic that can’t even have 1 page made in 2 weeks? Why don’t you shut the hell up and go jerk off to your anime porn.

btw, I’m 19, so I’ve crossed that barrier.

  67. Jon Pander Says:

khaotik: I think he wasn’t saying you were prepubescent… just your ’shrill voice’. Devil’s in the details, chap.

khaotik: “Simply because I wonder how a movie can be made about a comic that can’t even have 1 page made in 2 weeks?”
Actually the first GN had a deadline, which Bobby clearly met. Sometimes we had quite a few pages each week. Bobby seems to be pretty good on the deadlines that matter.

“Why don’t you shut the hell up and go jerk off to your anime porn.

btw, I’m 19, so I’ve crossed that barrier.”
You’re never too old for anime porn. There is no age barrier. SHHHH.

  68. Bobby Crosby Says:

A lot of people have said some insanely retarded things about why they think producers would want to make movies out of comics, but khaotik wins for stupidest thought ever about that (which I’ve heard, at least). Why in the world would it matter how often the comic updates, especially when it’s during the second graphic novel that’s telling the story about a possible second movie, jeez. I’m not sure if the producers who are making “Last Blood” even know that this web site exists and I’m 99% sure they’ve never read a page of it online.

  69. Dan Mayer Says:

Good for you, Khaotik. You passed puberty. Now, if you could just get over those annoying mannerisms, too.

I’ve said this before, but maybe someone will read it this time.

Everyone who’s complaining about the lack of updates, stop it. Being rude to the author isn’t motivating, it’s just rude. It’s little wonder Bobby gets short with some of his “fans.” No real fan would be an obnoxious SOB to the person who produces the comic they’re a fan of. He’s not sitting around in a recliner doing nothing because he likes pissing you off. He’s got other things to do. The update will come when it comes.

If you’re really tired of waiting for new pages, why don’t you GO DO SOMETHING ELSE? Last Blood will still be here when you get back. There are other webcomics and other websites that can occupy your free time until the next update. The Zombie Hunters has been pretty consistent on weekly updates, in my experience.

@Bobby: Nice pages, but I think I liked the B&W better. :P I’m joking, of course. Color or no, Owen’s work always looks great, and your writing hasn’t faltered yet. Keep it up, and good luck in all your endeavors.

  70. Jen Says:

I have read a few of the comments, and can’t believe how rude a few of the people have been. Why is it people have these unrealistic expectations that the world should cater to them? How on earth did they manage to get to this stage of their life? I miss natural selection.

  71. Kanian Says:

Heh, funny Dan, you got my meaning exactly.

    To Bobby,

Ah well, that sucks, I liked that bit, but oh well. Can’t wait Bobby.

  72. An Actual Fan Says:

Jen: How silly a thought, of COURSE the world is supposed to cater to us! Ya know, especially those of us who have no talent, do nothing for society or have any abilities. Even more so when we criticize the people that do have talent.
    Amirite khaotik?

  73. Earwax Says:

All said I would like to see what is next.

  74. Jon Pander Says:

Bobby: “khaotik wins for stupidest thought ever about that (which I’ve heard, at least).”
Wow… actually that’s quite an honor for khaotik. This ‘forum’ has a history of having quite a few stupid things said.

“I’m not sure if the producers who are making “Last Blood” even know that this web site exists and I’m 99% sure they’ve never read a page of it online.”
Judging from comic book-based movies like Fantastic Four, The Hulk (the first one at least), The Punisher, the third Spider-Man, Catwoman, X-Men 2 and Batman Begins, I have to agree – I doubt that most execs read comic books, period. I think even less of them read webcomics.

I might be wrong (also might be right – you might have even said this in the past and I don’t remember), but I tend to see this webcomic 9and Marry Me) as you having a very novel way of generating interest for your movie ideas.

  75. Bobby Crosby Says:

I’ve said that on almost every single comments page.

  76. NotGoodEnough Says:

@Bobby & Owen: Keep up the great work. Being an artist who often cannot find the time or motivation to create, I understand some of the issues that come up when creating something as grand as a graphic novel. Most of the time, those who dump flaming statements are people who simply have no idea what it takes to do it. Sometimes it’s just people who can’t control themselves. Lack of patience and such.

In regards to insulting “the fans”? I say go for it. As mentioned previously by others, it’s entertaining. Especially how bent out of shape some people get and to what extremes they take it.

I say, if you want to bring a flame to any sort of post like this, expect to get dumped on. You lose all credibillity as soon as you lose your cool.

  77. the Van of Hocking Says:

finally, new posts. at the moment it has been worth the wait.

  78. Kelvin Says:

I’m confused when I see people surprised that Bobby is an asshole. This guy is a writer of a comic about zombies, vampires, slaughters and death, not puppies and koalas saving the orphanage. Then people have been asking the same questions and making the same comments since page 10 and what else could you expect?

On another note, I like the zombies in black and white more. Both the style and skill are definitely there in the coloring, but with the nature of the comic I maintain that black and white is more fitting.

  79. Jon Pander Says:

Incredibly Cool Jon Pander: “I might be wrong (also might be right – you might have even said this in the past and I don’t remember), but I tend to see this webcomic (and Marry Me) as you having a very novel way of generating interest for your movie ideas.

Bobby’s response: “I’ve said that on almost every single comments page.”

Proof positive that even when I’m not listening to what you’re saying, I’m sitll in full agreement with what you say. Heh.

  80. el d Says:

I really love the art and the story, so thanks for all this.
id like to see more updates since you said so, but i understand that you got other things in your life than free webcomics. Thanks again for doing great job.

Ps. i would love to see animation film made with the style of the comic.

  81. Ross Says:

Hello, I started reading this comic a few months ago and caught up to current pages a month ago. I agree with most of the people here that this comic is freaking awesome; storyline, and beautiful (color or no color) art alike. Thank you Owen and Bobby!

    and,
Anybody who seriously has nothing better to do than bitch about the schedule needs to shut up before karma kicks them in the groin…

  82. WHOLESALENUTRITION SUPPLEMENTS Says:

    Thnaks for the new comic!!

  83. Kanian Says:

*glances up at the most recent post before his*

How the hell did that get past the post screening?

  84. Jon Pander Says:

Obviously the Wholesale Nutrition Supplements marketing department has high regards for webcomics where everyone on earth dies.

I can see the motto now…
“Because when everyone else is dead, your health is even more important.”

  85. Dan Mayer Says:

:D I want to see that in a future comic. Somewhere in the background, just put a random poster ad for vitamin supplements.

  86. Chris Says:

Dude, got any horny goat weed?

  87. Jon Pander Says:

Oh I have an even better one.

“Ten out of Ten Zombies prefer eating people who have had a full daily supply of liquid vitamins.”

A lot of search engines rely not only on how often a website is selected from a search list but also on how many other websites link to it.

The advertisement isn’t necessarily supposed to gain customers who would click on the link here, but fool the search engines into raising it’s ranking in search results.

But yeah, I’m betting they could use some good vitamins considering the lack of good food they’ve probably been experiencing. Probably help the libido and all that too. Which is great if you’re trying to repopulate the human race.

AAAh, the comments. I missed all of these. =D

Is there any level of greatness that Mac and expecially Grady can not achieve?

  91. Kanian Says:

Hey Bobby, just politely wondering, hows the next page coming along?

  92. Bobby Crosby Says:

Didn’t get Owen the script until four days ago, so the lateness is entirely my fault, as usual. Hoping for a new page this weekend, but don’t know. Owen has a very busy schedule.

Please do not compare Mac to Grady. Grady is cool and all, sure, but not Mac level cool. It’s like saying that Alfred is as cool as Bruce Wayne. Obviously he’s helpful to Batman, but he just doesn’t have that special zing that puts him in the same league.

In other comments, I would like to tell you Mac’s secret weakness. He’s unable to not be awesome. That is all. Thank you.

  94. Jon Pander Says:

My brother has informed me that Alfred -is- actually some sort of ultra cool british ex soldier or something. So it seems I may be wrong.

My bad. I’m waiting to see a “Grady Attack”

A Grady attack would pretty cool. What would he do though? Throw flaming bottles of scotch?
