Page 4: So Juicy Sweet
Monday, January 1st, 2007Ouch, that’s gotta hurt. I think she’s gonna die. Poor Marissa (decided to name her Marissa just now). This page will include a fancy Last Blood logo and list of credits in the printed books, so that’s why there’s a big blank area up top. I’m gonna have to make so much fake blood for this movie. I don’t envy the zombie actors who will have to bite into it, although this scene might be pretty fun actually. Better than the later ones at least where zombies will be eating the arms off of old men (I assume that will happen at some point, of course).
(The title of this page comes from Gollum in The Two Towers, where he sang, “My only wish, to catch a fish, so juicy sweeeeet!”)

Hey, i hope this film does get picked up by hollywood… I would really like to see this on a big screen somewhere… I also noticed the zombie has dog tags… Was he some part of a military experiment? I love these small details… Best of luck!

That small detail is very important to the story, as you’ll find out later. But to answer your question, no. And I also want to see this film on the big screen!

All the places to bite, and he chooses the neck?
Damn asexual zombies.

(There’s a pretty good reason for why he chooses the neck.)

It’d be pretty cool if Marissa shows up more often. Kinda random, but recurring characters (especially plot-linked ones) are interesting. Dunno how possible that is, and it’s probably not going to happen. Oh well.

This is truly exceptional work, Bobby! I really am very impressed. I have been a fan of Superosity since ’99. The Crosby brothers are talented indeed!
This work of yours — The line, the tension, frantic movement.. I love it. This is good art, man.

Oh… wow!
I just started reading this now… and wow! I’ve seen the ads but every time I click on it something comes up and I have to leave the computer and somehow it You writers and artist are so incredible, you make my pencils soggy from my tears (I really think you guys are incredible, I hope I’m as good as you some day…)
Okay, I’m off topic (Sorry, I do that a lot. There was this one time…wait-no!) I really like this page, not only is the artwork as splendid as usual, but the expressions on their faces, and you can see lines where maybe some of the lines could have gone but went to another direction or are just there… but there are alot of lines that aren’t exactly… is solid the word…? Anyway, it’s a nice touch and I believe it does wonders for the scene. I looke forward to reading more of the story, Thanks for all your great work!
