Page 2: A Long Walk
Wednesday, December 27th, 2006I really like this page, showing the passage of time as the zombie walks hundreds of miles on the ocean bed, with the sun creeping down as he gets closer to the shore. This first scene really makes me wish it was a big budget film with the capability to do this all for real with great special effects. As I mentioned in the blog post for the first page, the current plan is do an animated credits sequence, and a cartoon zombie just isn’t as scary as a real one, but I think it can still work well with the proper look and music — very dark and mysterious.
Who knows, though, maybe Last Blood will sell to Hollywood for big bucks soon and then they can make it look awesome. I’ve always wanted to make movies, though, and I’ve really gotten attached to the idea of filming it myself, so I’m not too concerned about selling it. I will need to sell the idea of it to possible investors for the film, though, so I’ve gotta get my pitch ready!

I agree, this page really looks great! Good luck to both of you, and I hope I actually get a chance to see this film completed!

The many men, so beautiful !
And they all dead did lie :
And a thousand thousand slimy things
Lived on ; and so did I.
