Also, as far as the retailers know, it's a regular ongoing series, and hopefully it will be one for a long time to come. Assume she has been around for a couple hundred years, and add in the fact that she most likely has looked extremely 'hot' for most of them. Now consider that 200 years ago women were almost considered property, and it has been less than 100 years since they got to VOTE (in the US it was 1920 or so). To say it delicately, she would NOT have fond memories of men from back in her 'youth'. It's entirely possible that every couple years some a** would take her beauty and independent nature as a challenge - and one to be answered by force.
