Anycase, you can get those gray tones and such in post. Screw around with saturation and color balancing and you can get some nice stuff. So long as you're doing it yourself (post, that is) should be quite easy to get what you need. If you're paying somebody for it, then yeah.. definitely screw it. But it might be cool to get some more gray tones. Pay attention to wardrobe and the background so far as colors, too. As a fellow writer/director figured I'd try to help.
